Since 2016, we have been shredding the gnar.

Our Collective history.

2016.

The Powder Hound Collective was founded in spirit in the winter of 2016, when a group of passionate skiers came together for the first time to share their love of the sport. The idea for the club was born out of a shared appreciation for the thrill and challenge of skiing, and a desire to create a community of like-minded individuals who could push each other to be their best on the mountain.

Early Days.

The founder of the PHC, Taylor O’Brien, grew up skiing on an ant hill-sized mountain in the suburbs of Boston, Ski Bradford. Despite the small size of his home mountain, Taylor always had a love for the sport and a determination to improve his skills. It wasn't until he skied with his uncle Charles Fick, a seasoned skier who nicknamed Taylor "the Powder Hound," that he truly came into his own as a skier.

The Collective is formed.

In business school, Taylor met Bob Kennedy, Andrew Israelson, and other fellow classmates who shared his passion for skiing. They quickly recognized their potential as fellow skiers and, in some form, have skied together nearly every year since. The Powder Hound Collective was formed organically as these skiers came together to share their love of the sport and push each other to be their best on the mountain.

Our principles.

Over the years, the club has grown to include a diverse group of skiers from all over the country, who are united by their love for the sport and their commitment to the club's three principles:

  1. Keep shredding the gnar

  2. No friends on powder days

  3. Slay all day, then après
